Today's nails are a trend that was pretty popular last year, mint nails. I didn't really get into that trend last year, didn't really like the way the mint green looked on my nails.

NOTD - May 19th
Studying for finals has its toll on my boredom, and the nails are the ones that pay for it. I have been changing my nails pretty much every single day for the past two weeks. Not the best thing for the nails, I know, but it's just a phase... i hope. And I haven't posted anything in a long while, so I thought I'd post the nails of the day everyday. One thing I have kept consistent, though, is having an accent glitter nail. It's a really big trend this year and I love it!

MAC Lipstick - Pink Plaid
I feel this doesn't get enough love, perhaps because it's a matte lipstick and people tend to generally shy away from these. I personally love matte lipsticks and how natural they can look. I know people may not like them because they can look extremely streaky and dry and flaky, basically unflattering, but when applied correctly it looks amazing!

Benefit: Coralista Blush
The most perfect coral blush I've come across so far! A perfect mix of pink coral and shimmer that gives the best flush to the cheeks in the spring and summer time. I do think this may work best in fairer skin tones because it would show up better than on a darker skin. I use this mostly in the beginning of spring when my skin isn't too tan yet. I don't use it as much in the summer time because it won't show up as well. But to be honest, I don't wear that much blush in the summer time, I prefer bronzer.

Love/Hate Relationship Conditioner
So I'm here to tell you about my love/hate relationship with this conditioner from Garnier. I don't know about the availability of this product worldwide, I know that the line is typically called Ultra DOUX instead of the portuguese Ultra SUAVE. This is the conditioner with vegetable hydrating milk (vegetable? how do you get milk from vegetables :/ ?)
So this smells amazing! I love it! It reminds me of Cook Island dancers (don't ask me why) and coconuts and something really really soft!

NOTD: Barry M - Baby Pink
So it's springtime but unfortunately it has been raining quite a lot lately, which is annoying given it was practically summertime just a week or two ago. So I'm not wearing any bright neon colors, because I'm just not in the mood :(

Skincare Routine
BEWARE!! Extremely long post! I have a recap at the end of the post if you don't want to read the whole thing!
Note: I don't have all the pictures yet, but will add them as soon as I get them!
One of my favorite parts of the day is my skincare routine, both in the morning and evening before I go to bed.
I use a vast number of products that differ everyday, but it's the routine I've found to be best for my skin, as of now. Who knows what it will be like in 6 months... Like everyone else, my skin changes throughout the year, but it's not the typical dry in the winter and oily in the summer change. My skin mainly changes depending on food and water intake, whether I'm in the city or in a cleaner environment, but the most important factor that affects my skin is stress!
Here's what happens: in college, I have exams throughout the month of February and July, and those are the worst for me. Stress levels go up, closed in the library for 12 hours a day, no fresh air, no sun, no time to take as much care as I should of my skin. Everything seems unimportant in comparison to the books and slideshows. Needless to say, my skin and hair become decadent and I'm, frankly, not the nicest person to be around in those times :P My skin, as well as my scalp, become very dry and flaky to the point where I scratch and it's as if it had just snowed on my desk. It's quite disgusting and annoying but there's not much I can do in those times, except exfoliate my face a lot, and use the least amount of products on my scalp. Not the funnest times at all!
Other than that, my skin is generally mixed to oily. My problem areas are: blackheads on chin and nose, and zits on cheeks and chin.
Moving on to the title of this post, rather than doing an extensive review on every single product, I'm going to break it down timeline-like (week-wise):
